This is my test tube baby- a bit of mint from a friend's plant that will eventually grow roots so I can plant it. No one in my house believes that this will happen. I pinky promise. I love that the leaves are so soft and semi-translucent. Very distracting when I am supposed to be reading the FY 2009 NASA Budget Request Summary.

This is my sunstar, Chloe. The photos don't do the color justice. I also don't know how to use Picnik very well yet. I talk to Chloe quite often.

I am very excited about the prospect of weather warm enough to spend hours outside in.
The kid down the street, who I can see through the sliding glass door, seems to be enjoying the outside. He first brought out the broom, I am assuming to sweep the driveway, but instead held the handle and spun in circles, making the broom part airborne. I am amused. Where did my imagination go? Was it shamed out of me because of the social-awkwardness of creativity? Too many people looked at me funny when I said something? I don't know. Oh well.
Six more days until I complete my college career!!
