I. Dropped. My. Tweezers.
Now they have a huge bend in the tip, rendering them useless. And I have furry eyebrows.
I don't see this going well.
If I grow a unibrow, please don't make fun of me. I can't help it.

Ya gotta dole out your crazy in little pieces
That was a quote from Scrubs.
Good advice? Eh....
I suppose.
I like to toss out my crazy in large doses. If I know you.
If not, I keep the crazy in, but laugh at my own jokes a little.
It's a social skill I've learned. My crazies scare people.
However, my guess is that if you are reading this you know me well enough to understand me.
Or at least just smile and nod and walk slooooowwwly away.

I think I am coming down with whatever sleep issue you have, Mom. I woke up at 6 this morning. Not on purpose. In fact, I don't even need to be out of bed until 8:30 at the latest today. But hey, its cool, its not like I really need sleep. Or that I went to bed at midnight last night. Even on weekends, I wake up at around 7. Not fair. I also wake up at least once to go pee, and several times other than that to just stare at the ceiling. Mother, what have you(r genes) done to me?!?!?!
On Saturday, my roomates got up at 4. In the afternoon. By that time, I had already picked up my new batch of contacts, rotated my tires, grocery shopped, checked my oil/radiator fluid and fixed the newest rattle on my Jeep, played frisbee, made banana bread, and nearly finished my Matlab code, AND sat around on the couch for a while. Maybe I should note that Saturday was one of my most productive days ever, but it was still disconcerting and amusing when Michael came up the stairs at 4. It made me feel superior, you know, in the I-am-mature-enough-to-wake-up-when-its-still-morning way. Secretly I was begging to be able to sleep that much.
Of course, I spent Sunday watching approximately 5 hours of Chuck (which is awesome by the way), and otherwise puttering around the house getting nothing done. It all averages out.

Cinquain
On Ang's previous suggestion, I am going to expand my poetry a bit. This one is inspired by how I feel this morning. I think several of you will relate.
Just as a reference, this is what wikipedia said a cinquain was, because I didn't know.
Line 2: 2 adjectives describing title
Line 3: 3 words ending in -ing
Line 4: one phrase
Line 5: one noun that is a synonym to the title
The Poem:
Headache
Painful, Unexpected
Throbbing, Pounding, Hurting
Where is my Advil?
Curse

Sigh
The following story is really embarrassing, but also incredibly representative of my life.
I have been missing my black hoodie for weeks. It is pretty light, good for warm days, and one of the only things I own that isn't some shade of brown. I've been really irritated that I lost it.
This morning I went in my closet to choose a shirt when my camelback, which was hanging from the door frame to dry, fell on my head. I turned to look at the camelback and then the door, where I discovered THREE hoodies hanging on the door. Including the black one.
Argghhh.
It has been there for weeks, because whilst in a fit of cleaning rage, I hung my hoodies nicely up where I could find them.
Ha!

I have messy handwriting
I've always thought it was rather nice, but when I go back and try to decipher my notes, I am forced to rethink that original analysis. Hmmm. It really would help if I didn't space out in the middle of class and draw geometric shapes and dinosaurs. Example:
Yes, that is a dinosaur eating a tree. Maybe it is from Boulder and has given up its carnivorous tendencies. It also lives right next to the analytic solution for a step change in subsurface temperature.
Here we have a "girraffe" and a dinosaur. Apparently my spelling is impaired when I doodle. And, usually my doodle giraffes are Spanish speaking, so they are labelled Jirafas. I'm not really sure why this one speaks English.
I wish the dinosaurs could do my math for me.
I often wonder how I got so weird.

Thank You
Dear Dad,
Thank you for the large sum of money you have spent on my education. Here is what I have done with it so far.

Yes, that is a living room blanket fort. It took Sara and I 45 minutes and lots of books to construct this monster. And nearly every blanket I own. It was Awesome!
I also just learned how to use the italic and bold thingies on here.
Love,
Cori

Ok, so I was going over some notes in my notebook for homework just now. I doodle and practice my cursive when I am not paying attention in class. I apologize ahead of time for what you are about to read. The following is an excerpt:
I like
eating biscuits
also cheese
and ice cream
and strawberries
Yoda is not
good to eat.

Flashback...
This morning in church, we sang Father Abraham. As in , Father Abraham, had many sons, many sons had Father Abraham, I am one of them, and so are you, so lets just praise the Lord. (Right arm, left Arm, right leg, .........).
As in the entire sanctuary of adults stood up and danced to Father Abraham for the whole song.
It made my day.

The Beauty of Technology...
Is that I can be in my bed AND using the computer at the same time. Its the best thing ever. Maybe I should take a shower...
Also, who the heck invented eyebrows? They're obnoxious.
I made cookies yesterday. And cupcakes the day before that. Roommate Michael thinks I am trying to make him fat. Like that will ever happen. It was Diana's birthday, so desserts are important for celebrating. Also, I love cookies.
In other news, it was nearly 70 degrees this week. What the heck? I should have stayed in CA. Just kidding.
I miss all of you. And by all of you, I mean those who I miss.
